The core objective of all religions is uniform.

What is meant by the renowned religions is that the core purpose is identical of them all. There has been no other purposes at all. If that single purpose is not known to you, then you will never find the shore of the ocean of religion. The core philosophy of religion, that is, the only prescription, has been hidden in the veil of various colors and styles. The only prescription stated in religions is to find Allah, God, Narayana, Jehovah or the spirit. How do I know about God?  How do I understand of him?  If we want to understand him, we shall have to find the answer from our own anatomical body. Those who try to find God outside the physique never attain Him and there is no provision for attaining Him this way. Inside this body there is a treasure trove of secrets.  There is a heart inside this body.  There is Nafs in that heart, that is, I am.  And I  foster the devil with me. The only pursuit of religion is to control that devil inside you, to drive him out or to make him a Muslim.  Those who have succeeded in this pursuit have come to know the identity of God.  So the Qur'an says, "call me alone, the call will be answered immediately".  In Arabic it is said, "Uduni Asta Jeb lakum". The only focul point is stated very directly in verse 60 of Surah Mumin of the Qur'an.  There are many ways to drive this devil out of your nafs.  The main objective is identical but there are numerous methodologies to fulfill the objective. When a devotee can drive away the devil from himself, the devotee then says in many languages,verses and styles, "I am both the master and disciple of myself".  Someone says, "there is nothing without the existence of God. And the existence can't be refuted." The devotees, after driving the devil away from his heart, also declare that "I am the truth", No one but God resides with me",  "I am the self- contained and whole dignity belongs to me.", "I and Him is identical", I am the God, God is I" and so forth.
